What my education calls the world is barely even a droplet of an ocean, at first this trip appeared like sunshine & rainbows. A little boy named train travelling around the world & seeing bunch of muttonheads, and someday he will be forced to join the same masquerade, is perhaps not stimulating me. One doesn’t need a scientist to approve of the fact that our days are numbered. The whole theory completely boggles my mind, which gives a reality check to a dreamer…Good, you say?
No one here communicates in my language, and neither I am enthused to make them understand me. After all tête-à-tête back in the native land smoked up my inspiration to have a conversation with anyone long time ago. I don’t know why but I loved those black cracked twisted streets of villages more than the roads named after some politicians, or the tranquility of rivers in the dawn more than buzz at 10 in the city. When you’ve such things in mind, it’s bound to wander miles away from the tutorials, ‘Absent minded’ so touché!
‘Kerala’ literally means coconut palms; and after consuming so much of liquor, finally I had some of coconut water. If you are expecting me to describe it as some form of Amrit, seriously you need to stop watching bollwood flicks. It tastes similar to one I have in my state. But the charm of this place is neither its people nor food, but the natural surroundings. I won’t make the mistake of defining my experience or putting anything in some inverted commas, some things are meant to be boundless and infinite…
I’m still drowning
In these warm waves of emotion;
Deeper than life and death,
Lighter than clouds in a blue sky,
Sitting in silence
Between nap & slumber
Only the sound of wheeze,
Reminding me
Of another’s presence,
With no assurance
Of next moment …
Alvida, Good bye, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersen!!! 🙂
